Richland Police Department Recovers Stolen Vehicle, Apprehends Suspect

Richland, MI – The Richland Police Department is pleased to announce the successful recovery of a stolen vehicle and the apprehension of the suspect involved.

On 17 June 2026 at approximately 0958 hours, officers from the Richland Police Department, with the valuable assistance of the Ross Township Police Department, located and recovered a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Kokomo, Indiana.

The vehicle has been impounded and is scheduled to be returned to its rightful owner in the coming days.

We are grateful for the quick response and collaboration with the Ross Township Police Department; this joint effort demonstrates the strength of partnerships between law enforcement agencies in keeping our communities safe and ensuring stolen property is returned to its owners.
