Please drive with care on 37th Street! Gull Lake Sewer and Water Authority (GLSWA) will be doing sewer system maintenance on Force Main 1 along 37th Street this summer. This is a two step process and there will be no interruptions to your sewer service. Residents will see access points being drilled into the sewer system along the shoulder of the road in preparation for a system clean out and inspection from South of DE Avenue, through Charleston Township to the Galesburg Augusta High School, which will occur in July. GLSWA has obtained all necessary permitting with the Road Commission of Kalamazoo County for this project. Please watch for GLSWA and Road Commission employees on the roadways and along the shoulder and drive with caution. As a reminder, Ross Township does not have a municipal water system, and this maintenance clean out is for sewer flowing along 37th Street from Ross Township to City of Kalamazoo’s wastewater treatment plant.
