It’s beginning to look a lot like …. summer! If you are a homeowner in Ross Township, please be sure to review Ross Township’s Zoning Ordinance to be sure your property’s remodel or building plans meet Township Zoning Regulations.

Additionally, Ross Township has special regulations for docks and boathouses on Gull and Sherman Lake waterways and prohibits private citizens from renting docks, unless a marina permit exists. See Page 17-2.7 : “Allowed docks shall only be used by the approved access lot beneficiary.” MC Numbers will be investigated to determine registration name and address belongs to the lot owner living on the lake. Individuals found to be renting dock space without a marina permit will be found to be non-compliant under this Ordinance, even if a dock rental contract exists.
