In the recent “Newsletter — Summer 2022” mailed with tax statements June 30th, we notified Ross Township residents of a special Board Meeting at 6:00pm on September 19th. This meeting is meant to hear from residents on how they feel the Township best spends funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) over the next 4 years.
If you wish to participate, please go to Federal COVID-19 relief funding (michigantownships.org) to learn how APRA money can be lawfully used. We look forward to hearing resident input on where funding dollars should be directed in our Township’s future!
Please remember …. “Special Meetings” are needed when any Board or Commission needs to gather to solve a problem, review a legal matter, create new ordinances or create new zoning amendments. These meetings are extra work times when your leadership teams are working in addition to regularly scheduled meetings. There are many positive and exciting changes happening monthly in Ross Township! The need for “Special Meetings” occurring recently were explained in the Summer 2022 Newsletter, along with the matters of the public water (rumor) and new public sewer project on Sherman Lake.
